A Christmas Story

Yesterday we made a trip to Cleveland and visited the Christmas Story house in Tremont. The younger brother, Randy, was there to sign autographs. I had been to the gift shop before and it brings back many memories of the movie. Randy, if you remember, was the one who put on the snowsuit and when he fell couldn't get up. We missed the actual tour of the house since Randy was there but that was something my daughter could probably due on her own (she's been through it before and is very knowledgeable). It was fun to see different things from the movie such as a coat pole with hats on (especially the pink bunny ears), the half unwrapped BB gun in the corner, the notebook in the bathroom that had the words from the decoder ring, and of course the leg lamp at the living room window. It makes me want to watch the movie again. By the way, someone actually bought one of the leg lamps while we were waiting in line. It was really cold yesterday and the line was very long. I think the best time to go would be Christmas in July.
